Bahurim (Buh-hair´uhm)

Modern Ras et-Tmin east of Mt. Scopus by Jersalem. It is mentioned most frequently in the David stories (2Sam 3:16; 2Sam 16:5; 2Sam 17:18; 2Sam 19:16; 2Sam 23:31; 1Kgs 2:8).

2Sam 3:16

16But her husband went with her, weeping as he walked behind her all the way to Bahurim. Then Abner said to him, “Go back home!” So he went back.
