Zeus

Zeus (Zoos)

The chief deity of the Greek pantheon, often described as the “father of gods and men.” Barnabas is taken to be “Zeus” by the people of Lystra (Acts 14:12).

Acts 14:12

12Barnabas they called Zeus, and Paul they called Hermes, because he was the chief speaker.
