Uriel

Uriel (Yoor´ee-uhl)

1 A prominent Kohathite Levite who helped bring the Ark from the home of Obed-edom to Jerusalem (1Chr 6:24; 1Chr 15:5; 1Chr 15:11). 2 A man of Gibeah whose daughter, Michaiah, became the mother of King Abijah of Judah (2Chr 13:2).

1Chr 6:24

24Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Shaul his son.

1Chr 15:5

5of the sons of Kohath, Uriel the chief, with one hundred twenty of his kindred;

1Chr 15:11

11David summoned the priests Zadok and Abiathar, and the Levites Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel, and Amminadab.

2Chr 13:2

2He reigned for three years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Micaiah daughter of Uriel of Gibeah.
Now there was war between Abijah and Jeroboam.
