Tryphaena

Tryphaena (Tri-fee´nuh)

A Christian who, with Tryphosa, receives greetings from Paul in (Rom 16:12). Perhaps the two were sisters; the designation “workers in the Lord,” however, allows the possibility that Paul associates them because of their common activity in the church.

Rom 16:12

12Greet those workers in the Lord, Tryphaena and Tryphosa. Greet the beloved Persis, who has worked hard in the Lord.
