Sepharad

Sepharad (Sef´uh-rad)

The residence of some exiles from Jerusalem mentioned in (Obad 1:20). It is identified with Sardis (modern Sart) in east-central Turkey, the capital city of the ancient Lydian Empire.

20The exiles of the Israelites who are in Halah
