Salma

Salma (Sal´muh)

1 A descendant of Judah and father of Boaz; an ancestor of King David and, so, also of Jesus (1Chr 2:11; Matt 1:4). He is also called Salmon (Ruth 4:20-21; Matt 1:4-5) and Sala (Luke 3:32). 2 A descendant of Judah and the father of Bethlehem (1Chr 2:51; 1Chr 2:54).
