Sallai (SalĀ“i)

1 A postexilic Benjaminite resident in Jerusalem (Neh 11:8). 2 A priest in Jerusalem under the high priest Joiakim, possibly of the family Sallu (Neh 12:20; Neh 12:7).

Neh 11:8

8And his brothers Gabbai, Sallai: nine hundred twenty-eight.

Neh 12:20

20of Sallai, Kallai; of Amok, Eber;

Neh 12:7

7Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These were the leaders of the priests and of their associates in the days of Jeshua.
