Pelaiah

Pelaiah (Pi-lay´yuh; Heb., “Yah[weh] has performed a wonder”)

1 The son of Elioenai, descendant of David and in the royal lineage of the kings of Judah through Zerubbabel (1Chr 3:24). 2 One, probably a Levite, who explained to the people the law read by Ezra (Neh 8:7). 3 A Levite who signed the postexilic covenant to keep the law (Neh 10:10); perhaps the same as 2 above.
