Oded (Oh´did)

1 The father of the prophet Azariah (2Chr 15:1). 2 A prophet of Israel in the reign of Pekah (735–732 BCE). He persuaded the army of Israel to treat the captives from Judah kindly and to allow them to return home (2Chr 28:9-15).
