Moza

Moza (Moh´zuh)

A name considered by some to be adapted from a place-name associated with Judah. 1 The son of Caleb and his concubine (1Chr 2:46). 2 The son of Zimri (1Chr 8:36; 1Chr 9:42) and the father of Binea (1Chr 8:37; 1Chr 9:43), listed as descendants of King Saul.

1Chr 2:46

46Ephah also, Caleb's concubine, bore Haran, Moza, and Gazez; and Haran became the father of Gazez.

1Chr 8:36

36Ahaz became the father of Jehoaddah; and Jehoaddah became the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri; Zimri became the father of Moza.

1Chr 9:42

42and Ahaz became the father of Jarah, and Jarah of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri became the father of Moza.

1Chr 8:37

37Moza became the father of Binea; Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.

1Chr 9:43

43Moza became the father of Binea; and Rephaiah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
