Minni (MinĀ“i)

A state and people who lived in the eastern Turkish mountain territory south of Lake Urmia, part of modern northern Iraq. In (Jer 51:27) they were part of a coalition with Ararat (Urartu) and Ashkenaz (probably Scythians) from the same region that opposed Babylon.
