Michtam

Michtam (Mik´tam)

A technical term of uncertain meaning introducing (Ps 16; Ps 56-60) and probably (Isa 38:9, see NRSV note). The word refers to some sort of writing, possibly to an inscription on a stela, which is how the translators of the LXX understood it.
