Micah, The Book of

One of the books of the twelve Minor Prophets. It presents the oracles of the prophet Micah, who was a contemporary of Isaiah of Jerusalem, the prophet behind (Isa 1-39). The book is organized in two major sections, each of which moves thematically from prophecies of punishment to prophecies of salvation.
