Methuselah

Methuselah (Mi-thoo┬┤suh-luh)

According to the lineage of Seth, the son of Enoch, the father of Lamech, and the grandfather of Noah (Gen 5:21-27; 1Chr 1:3). Methuselah lived for 969 years, the longest-lived person in the Bible. Cf. Methushael (Gen 4:18).
