Mahli (Mah´li)

1 A Levite mentioned in the genealogy of (Exod 6:19) as well as in various lists of levitical families (1Chr 6:19; 1Chr 6:29; 1Chr 23:21; 1Chr 24:26; Ezra 8:18). (Num 3:20, (Num 3:33-36) reports that the Mahlites, together with the descendants of Mushi’s brother, had specific responsibilities in the operation of the tabernacle. 2 Mahli’s nephew, the son of Mushi, who was named after Mahli (if the notices in (1Chr 6:47).
