Libni

Libni (Lib´ni; Heb., “white”)

1 The son of Gershon (Gershom) and the grandson of Levi (Exod 6:17; 1Chr 6:20); he was the ancestral head of a major subdivision of the Gershonite clan of Levites, the Libnites (Num 3:21; Num 26:58). He is also called Ladan (1Chr 23:7-9). 2 A Levite, the son of Mahli and the grandson of Merari (1Chr 6:29).
