Imnah (Im´nuh; Heb., either “right-hand” or “south” [on the right facing east])

1 A son of Asher who went with Jacob to Egypt (Gen 46:17); he is considered the head of the clan of the Imnites (Num 26:44). 2 A Levite, the father of Kore, a Temple official during the reign of Hezekiah (2Chr 31:14).
