Immer

Immer (Im´uhr; Heb., “lamb”)

1 The father of a line of priests that numbered 1,052 (Ezra 2:37; Neh 7:40), whose descendants included Jeremiah’s opponent Pashhur (1Chr 9:12; Jer 20:1), and who was the winner of the sixteenth lot (1Chr 24:14). 2 The father of a line of warriors, including Meshillimoth (Neh 11:13), but he may be identical with 1. 3 Perhaps a place in Babylon from which the returning priestly exiles emigrated (Ezra 2:59; Neh 7:61).
