Hymenaeus

Hymenaeus (Hi´muh-nee´uhs)

Opponent of Paul, associated with Alexander (1Tim 1:18-20; 2Tim 4:14) and Philetus (2Tim 2:14-18). With Philetus, Hymenaeus held that the general resurrection was already past (2Thess 2:1-2).
