Eliam (I-li´uhm; Heb., “God is kin” or “uncle”)

1 One of David’s “mighty warriors,” the son of the Gilonite Ahithophel (2Sam 23:34). 2 The father of Bathsheba (2Sam 11:3), called Ammiel in 1Chr 3:5.

34Eliphelet son of Ahasbai of Maacah; Eliam son of Ahithophel the Gilonite;

3David sent someone to inquire about the woman. It was reported, “This is Bathsheba daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite.”
