Chios (KiĀ“os)

Alarge mountainous island of volcanic origin in the Aegean Sea five miles west of Asia Minor, claimed to have been the home of Homer. Paul and his companions passed Chios on the final voyage to Jerusalem (Acts 20:15).

Acts 20:15

15We sailed from there, and on the following day we arrived opposite Chios. The next day we touched at Samos, and the day after that we came to Miletus.
