Azubah

Azubah (Uh-zoo´buh; Heb., “forsaken”)

1 The daughter of Shilhi; she was a wife of King Asa of Judah and mother of Jehoshaphat (1Kgs 22:42). 2 One of the wives of Caleb, son of Hezron (1Chr 2:18).

1Kgs 22:42

42Jehoshaphat was thirty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Azubah daughter of Shilhi.

1Chr 2:18

18Caleb son of Hezron had children by his wife Azubah, and by Jerioth; these were her sons: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.
