Arah (Air´uh)

1 An Asherite, son of Ulla, who appears in a list of heads of houses, warriors, and chief princes (1Chr 7:39). 2 An ancestor of 775 returnees from Babylonian exile (Ezra 2:5). Some of his descendants were loyal to Tobiah (Neh 6:18 and Neh 7:10) cites a census of his descendants as 652.
