Ahohite

Ahohite (Uh-hoh´hit)

A descendant of Ahoah or possibly Ahohi. 1 Eleazer, one of David’s warriors, a son of Dodo (1Chr 11:12). 2 Zalmon, one of David’s “Thirty” (2Sam 23:28). 3 Ilai, a Davidic warrior (1Chr 11:20). 4 Dodai (possibly a variant spelling of Dodo), Eleazer’s father (1Chr 27:4).

12And next to him among the three warriors was Eleazar son of Dodo, the Ahohite.

20Now Abishai, the brother of Joab, was chief of the Thirty. With his spear he fought against three hundred and killed them, and won a name beside the Three.

4Dodai the Ahohite was in charge of the division of the second month; Mikloth was the chief officer of his division. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
