Ahilud

Ahilud (Uh-hi´luhd)

The father of two royal officials: Jehoshaphat, who served both David and Solomon as record keeper (1Chr 18:15; 1Kgs 4:3), and Baana, who was a district administrator charged with provisioning Solomon for one month of the year (1Kgs 4:12).

15Joab son of Zeruiah was over the army; Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud was recorder;
