Achaia

Achaia (Uh-kay´yuh)

The Roman province consisting of the southern half of the Greek peninsula. In the NT the term is connected with Paul’s preaching in its capital, Corinth (Acts 18:27; 1Cor 16:15; 2Cor 1:1).
